Not sure if I have anti-virus but I too can't open the page. I'm getting this*, however I can link to the Zappa.com by clicking "Home Page" but there is nothing with regards to the Hot Rat Sessions

If you look above the links on the first post, there is a big message in red saying the links are broken!
Possibly posted on Zappa.com prematurely, or the "preorder" system ain't working so good, or, it really did hide a virus!!!.

Hello. As you know, "The Hot Rats Sessions" box set appeared in our store today. What you might not know is that this happened mistakenly. Our store partner made this error. “The Hot Rats Sessions” should have been announced tomorrow on the 50th anniversary of the release of "Hot Rats." Adding insult to injury, the store page included information from a work document that should never have been leaked. Rest assured we will announce as planned tomorrow, October 10th, and when you receive "The Hot Rats Sessions" box set, you will have all the correct information at your finger tips. Thanks for your understanding. Joe Travers, Vaultmeister

This is truly an awesome collection. I wonder if there will be a companion release collecting any live recordings of the Hot Rats band--that is, if there are any in the Vault.

holly shit! headhammer that's my favorite Frank Zappa album with Sleep Dirt and the Grand Wazoo.

I really enjoyed and rediscovered it (my first Zappa purchased on CD was the Ryko with the overdubs) thus I only discover the original vinyl mix with the Universal reissue.

I have often wondered how many takes (we can hear on the Ryko CD a take announcement (I don't remember which take is it) and the mix of Gumbo Variation is different on the Universal reissue.

Frank Zappa solos are so fluids and inventives...
I can hear to listen to these sessions!

The Vaultmeister mentioned a show in the Vault a while back which was different than the Olympic show. Unless my memory fails me (always possible), there wasn't a reel of the Olympic show in the Vault. Since we're so lucky we have a nice audience capture of it, I would rather hear a new show which has never surfaced. As for this boxset, I am EXCITED!!! This is a big check mark on my FZ bucket list. My fixation with the 88 tour is kept in check by the many superb captures - a boxset would be too massive to produce...

on the Hot Rats BOOK cover it's a pink-filtered photo with Frank Zappa playing what looks to me (the photo is small) like a Gibson jazz guitar- the kind of guitar George Benson was using in his early years (in 1970 he would record the amazing "The Other Side Of Abbey Road")

Do you know exactly what guitar is it on this Frank Zappa photo. And did Zappa played such Gibson guitar on Hot Rats ?
