Der Fotograf Norman Seeff in Köln

Miles Davis und Patti Smith, Tina Turner, die Rolling Stones und Frank Zappa: Die Liste
der von Norman Seeff Porträtierten liest sich wie das Who's who der Rock- und Popgeschichte.
Aber auch Regisseur Billy Wilder, Dirigent Zubin Mehta, Pop-Art-Künstler Andy Warhol und
Apple-Mitbegründer Steve Jobs standen vor seiner Kamera.

Dabei hatte Norman Seeff zunächst ganz andere Pläne. 1939 in Johannesburg geboren, begann

The Look of Sound vereint mehr als 170 Fotografien, darunter größtenteils originale Vintage

Thanks a lot for this surprise! thumbsup clap
Beside being a great photographer, Norman is a very nice person. It was great to see him in Mannheim 2014; listening to his stories was like being at a fine concert.

By the way, could somebody please help to seed:Rolling Eyes

I will see the exhibition soon in Cologne. I hope it will include some
Zappa fotosession film footage as well.

Has someone seen this in Cologne already?

Anyway, these little film snippets shown here in this report, taken during
Norman's fotosessions with Ike and Tina Turner, Steve Martin and
Ray Charles, are unique and very, very funny.

In any case, the author says that Norman should have thrown
a cake in Frank's face to motivate him. Anyway, Frank did not
like it that much.
