A very small excerpt of Frank Zappa's dialogue from The Monkees' film Head appears on track 12 ("Poll") on the soundtrack of the same name. It's just like one line of his dialogue in the first second or two of the track which is "That song was pretty white".

Even though it's such a miniscule appearance on the soundtrack, I still think it should be included in guest appearances because it is still his voice on another artists album. Here is a wikipedia link to the soundtrack if you need some release info to add it to this list-

On the new DVD reissue on Criterion, Mike Nesmith mentions that he (Nesmith) & Jack Nicholson worked on putting the the LP soundtrack together. Just thought I'd mention it.

4. Sandy Hurvitz - Sandy's Album Is Here At Last!
Zappa appears on the Cal Schenkel designed cover of debut - and that is the limit of his involvement. Despite constant misinformation to the contrary Zappa did not produce this album - Ian Underwood did.

Frank Zappa produced the first version of the album, but when she disagreed he handed the production over to Ian Underwood.

Finally got the last 2 related cd's here

Swing Charlebois Swing - nifty little guitar solo
Chunky, Novi & Ernie - the whispering sounds like something out of Joe's Garage

I think the only other item I need is his playing on the Knack's lp - any ideas where or if that is available?

There also is 2 more tracks with J.A. from that session "The Saga Of Sydney Spacepig" (w/"The air" playing over it somewhere)...10 min.30 and another one that is somewhat in the vein of Return of Monster Magnet 1 min.33 , wich I assume FZ plays or sings on....

Have these ever been released with the FZ involvement?

Any insight as to why the thread below indicates that it is FZ playing fretless guitar as Mr. E. Guest on Arthur Barrow's Velveteen Timebomb but this thread does not identify it?
