Neither have I, I have a yellow label promo copy, but that one's stereo as well. Can we have a picture of it? |

Back to the topic of Newbury Comics copy
On it's way to Holland right now.
Tracking says En Route
Hopefully beginning next week
I sort of like the coloured vinyls. Over-completist, I know.

For some unexplainable reason, the cover image in the lower section was pretty much trimmed.
The motif on the back has also been trimmed at the bottom. The insides are like the original.
Just a few new text elements have been added in the context of this re-release.
Picture:
Above - the new UMe version
Below - my original 1969 German gatefold version (with rare glossy lamination of the outsides)
(BTW, the same was true for the 2012 UMe CD)

A quick look at the release page on discogs reveals that the original US LP cover image was a little cropped compared to the German and other versions from 1969. Not unlikely that they started with a scan of that, possibly from the Vaultmeister's private collection? _________________ If I'm not alone . . . How long have I been asleep?

Just got it.
Very nice splatter effect
I just focused on the pressing being by Pallas, thanks to the sticker on the shrink.
Oops mentioned that above, but I didn't notice.
And also I had forgotten that a "Pallas sticker" is also on the Newbury release of BWS (while I see no "Pallas sticker" on Newbury's HR).
Does this mean that the vinyl is pressed in Germany, sent to US and then packaged and sent back to European customers? _________________ uncle max

Ah, thanks.
The start of the text helps put the quote into context.
@wingedeelfingerling Can we get a couple of photos of your copy please? |
