What the heck is this?! And why did it sell for 227.50 USD on ebay?
I tried a search, but no luck.

ps: the b-side is RED NECK DISCO. The pic I managed to save from an old ebay listing is too small to post.

Intriguing. Does it say what year its from?

Quick search:

"(Carole Joyner / Ric Cartey) Copyright Lowery Music Co."

http://www.elvis.net/wordsmusic/songwy/younglove.html

The Zappa name sounds familiar.

Richardson - stab in the dark - Miranda? imslow

No, no details. With a novelty song type title of Red Neck Disco, it's gotta be 77ish?

Wonder if this is relevant? Sounds like a Jim & Tammy outfit but no idea really.

Here's Red Neck Disco (not necessarily the same version) if you dare to listen.

huh. I'm guessing the Harry Ethel side must use some of Franks music? Ethel the tree or something. The Cartey/Joyner link provided indicates they've been at it since at least 1956.
So, Elvis Era + FZ + whatever Richardson managed to do with it?
Sounds horrible.

I'm thinking its FZ and Richardson toying with a classic oldie and recasting it for the Disco era and its about Harry & Ethel who receive charitable donation like Jim & Tammy? roflol

It's more a play on words where "Harry and Ethel' sound like 'hairy asshole' and in the middle part they use a few lines from “What’s the Ugliest Part of Your Body”.
Sold on March 12-2019 for US $295.00!!
