This is one I highly recommend. Brilliant performance by the Brussels Philharmonic and Brad Lubman, whom I'd never heard of before. Oddly, Lubman decides to completely ignore the tempo marking at m. 56 of Envelopes and do instead an unspecified metric modulation, preserving the same value of the quarter note from the first part of the piece (in 3/4) for the dotted quarter in the second part (in 6/8). Of course, this ends up making the second part much faster than intended - a liberty some may find excessive - but the orchestra handles it quite well, and I get the feeling that FZ (fond as he was of ridiculously fast tempi) would have liked it. In any case, an interesting version to have. Thanks for sharing!
