Let's talk about her. I can't see Dweezil ever replacing her. I think she may be the single most Zappa-competent musician alive now. She blows the hell out of a horn, and plays amazing keyboard parts, not to mention other instruments I'm probably not aware of. She has a very wide vocal range too. And she seems to have a lot of fun doing her job.

I just think she deserves a thread of her own, really.

Scheila is the cat's whiskers... I have said this since first seeing her in 2006 with ZPZ. She deserves a lot more recognition. If Dweezil let her go, it would be a huge loss.

If we can have a thread just for poodles, I'm sure we can have one for Scheila.

The last time ZpZ was in Sydney, admittedly without Adam Minkoff, Scheila saved the concert.

She seemed more essential than Dweezil at the time.....

Cian's voice grates on me like nails on a chalkboard. Like I've mentioned before, ZPZ's over sound is now dominated by too much female voices. Needs a strong male voice.

The voices are the thing that fails in Zappa covers. There are a few highlights in the Zappa's Universe CD, but mostly Keneally alone does not carry a show. I'm keeping the disc for now, for Persuasions and Sofa.

You can never have too many recordings of Sofa!

Yes, you have mentioned it several times already. Rolling Eyes
