I'm not sure if this is an error but in the section concerning Amnesia Vivace towards the bottom I noticed this

FZ’s recitation about the Duke and
Douchess of Prunes parodies the song ‘Duke
of Earl’, which was recorded by Gene Chandler in 1961 and went to #1 on both the R&B
and pop charts in 1962.

Shouldn't that be Duchess?

Douchess is how FZ spelled it in the libretto. A non-standard spelling to reflect his non-standard pronunciation.

^Sounds good to me, I initially thought that it was purposely misspelled but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification.

At the top of page 587, the heading is misspelled as "Weasels Reaped My Fletch," which is basically the best typo ever.

That was my publisher's contribution. It's a quotation from an ad that appeared in Rolling Stone (70/10/29).

You must be happy. The book must be selling well. Why am I saying this? I ordered a copy a while ago and still have not had notification of new stock. I'm looking forward to reading it.

It arrived in town on Wednesday but today was my first option to go pick it up.
I knew it was big but it's still bigger than I expected!

Received mine yesterday and read the Introduction. Already an amazing wealth of knowledge. Then I read Some parts on Freak Out!, Uncle Meat, and We're Only In It For The Money while listening to the respective albums. Damn, is all I can say. Fantastic job and can't wait to read more.

Only on page 54 and have learned so much already. 'course all the technical music stuff escapes me, but I still find it interesting
to review. Imagine the challenges, hear it in my head and then shake it in awe. Congrats again, it is a monster.
