Looking over CU's list I find four uncirculated 1982 shows, June 1 Bordeaux, June 3 Dijon (except for the short SBD clip), June 24 Zurich and June 27 Ulm. FZ released solos from the first three of those.

a 1979-box, and the smartest move after that would be a 1979-box

Even though my definite wish Box favourite is "MOI 10 Years Anniversary Tour" with Edinboro & all those superfunky jams/killer guitar solos, Scandinavian '88 shows sounds like a perfect idea too!
If Frank wasn't able to record Helsinki show properly, soundboard tape must exist (or other type of guerilla recording, hopefully analog).
On the other hand, wouldn't that be a great Road Tapes show, keeping Helsinki theme ongoing..

something like that could possibly include the Auditorium Theatre, Chicago, Illinois shows from May 11/12, 1974. or even a *standalone* release of just those Chicago May '74 shows if more of that (the full shows?) exists in the vault after the digital download release of the Penguin In Bondage/Mothers story. That one has a blistering Zappa solo (guitar high in the mix as well!), even though I would prefer something from later in that year: the six-piece Fall-Winter 1974 line-up.. Smile

Am I the only one here who thinks they should do a decent album of Diva singing, with Tipper Gore drumming? She's almost as good as Colaiuta! Maybe there's studio out-takes of "When the Ball Drops". Razz

Apart from that they should focus entirely on Beefheart (after the two 1979-boxes). We all have enough of this F. Zappa.

What will make me very happy at this point: the complete sixties London shows and Zappa in New York in a Roxy Perfomances fashion.

I've never heard the Chicago shows beyond the released snippets, but the entire Edinboro show is on the tracker, and man does it smoke. I would definitely be excited about that one, since the bootleg sounds like ass anyway.

This idea has been on my mind lately. So Alex winter has made comments about logging all of the contents of the vault into a concise and cohesive library/list to make finding things easier. I was wondering, if a list of all of the contents in the vault (or at least all of the live show recordings) is compiled, would it be a possibility to share that list with the public? I know it would take a lot of the fun out of some new releases but, maybe if there was a list stating that such and such show is in the vault, maybe we could all like vote on what shows we would like to see released next. How do you guys feel about this idea, is it too naïve? Is it even possible? Thoughts please.
