Sometime ago. maybe here maybe elsewhere, I read about making a flac file of lumpy gravy and an accompanying cue sheet where you could access the tracks as indexed. At the time I wasn't using software where I could make use of a cue sheet.
Now I would like to do this.
In addition to tips on cue sheets, this old thread discussed capturing the complete CD as one track. Using a software program or a web site.
Any tips about how this process is done?

Here are my notes to myself on how to decode whole-album flacs with a cue sheet, using Max (for Macintosh):
convert .flac > .wav
put .wav in same folder as cue sheet
open cue sheet (command-o in Max)
convert cue sheet > .m4a
You can substitute your favorite output format for .m4a.
I can't offer tips for going the other direction.
