I have it in my hands.

Should I:

- Watch it now on my MacBook?
- Save it for next week when I'll be able to watch it ALONE at a friend's house who has a huge sound system and film screen...

You can watch it on a the laptop , but listen to it ?

Interesting to note that 'Dickie's Such an Asshole' is the same version as the one on YCDTOSA 3, missing the vocal section ('Gave a couple to Bebe Rebozo...') that's on the YCDTOSA vinyl sampler.

So, was that vocal section spliced in from another night? It seems that it was always a part of the song, I've never heard any other version without it.

It just seems odd that it would be missing from the video.

FZ may have had Ike learn the song from the sampler version for the 88 tour since Ike always did those "gave a couple to Bebe Rebozo" lines too.

There's a cool little raveup in the movie between "who was it? who?" and "we know you're not a crook" which was edited out of YCDTOSA 3.

"These days" date back at least to 2003. Halloween is "ALBUM".

Someone should let the vaultmeister or Ahmet know about it.

The US Version of the DVD package is correct, the EU version is not. This is out of our hands sadly. Must be an Eagle Rock issue.

Besides the labeling issue, I think when I pre-ordered it a long time ago, all of the online stores said the soundtrack on the DVD would be PCM. I was pretty bummed to find out it was AC3 when it arrived. This seems to be a recurring theme with Eagle Rock. The new ELO DVD was also supposed to have a PCM soundtrack, and it arrived AC3.

I think it's simply a problem of our complex and so-called "modern" workflow management.

This results in ...

... nobody is accountable about the coordination between the US and EU decision makers.
... nobody is accountable about the correct artwork and packaging facts.
... nobody is accountable about the correct DVD disc naming.
... nobody is accountable for the quality itself.

... and so forth. Very Happy

And it's simply the thing to put the blame on somebody else! Very Happy

Seems that quality management is simply to expensive today. cooler
