Thank you.

Talk about an interviewer with an agenda! But there was still some useful and specific information about Plastic People.

What's heard is Santana's studio recording of Black Magic Woman (as heard on Abraxas), not a live performance in Liverpool.

Thanks for this!

Liverpool is just across the River Mersey from me so it's nice to see something local!

I found this pic of Mountford Hall as it is today where the concert took place. It's part of the University buildings.

Thank you.

An interview in the style of an interrogation by the tax officer or prosecutor. It is great, really interesting to listen to what FZ states patiently and competently in reply to questions which seem to be motivated by the attempt to reveal any contradictions which of course fails.

One large part of the talk addresses the scarceness of FZ's time. Knowing now that the recorded stuff wasn't aired and no promotional benefit was derived from it, hope is that at least he got paid a fee.

As for the music content, for instance the Fillmore 5 and 6 Sep 1970 have the material in listenable quality. It would be strange if the TV station only field recorded the concerts without plugging into the sound board with another tape machine. So maybe this was done and these tapes still sit in the archive somewhere else. TV station - ? Why does this stuff come as audio only? Isn't the ZDF an audiovisual media company? Was the whole effort made for research purpose and without intent of publication?
