Yes, maybe it's killing your ratio - but it's worth the trouble, trust me. Wink

PS: Burn this stuff on a 8.5 GB DVD-DL!

My player has no problems with MKV.

BTW, nice concert and of course a fantastic picture quality.

But
Where ist the interaction between the musicians?
Seems that everybody has his price and makes his job.
Dweezil is there but somehow absent.
Exceptionally cold performance for a Zappa related show.

Does Humor Belong In This Show? Rolling Eyes

No!

very odd.

This has always been the case with the ZPZ shows - which is why I prefer to listen to it rather than watch it. The magic is in the sounds - thanks of course to Papa Frank! imslow

While I am at it, IMHO, Frank would've loved this band and today's technology for being able to pull off perfect renditions of the records. imslow

There is interaction, especially between Ryan and Scheila, Ben, and to a lesser extent DZ & Ryan, and improving in comparison with previous tours.
Exceptionally cold, coloured in and in bold no less, is a ridiculous description of the Dallas performance, or indeed the four live shows I have seen on this tour so far.
ZPZ may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they have earned their place in keeping the music alive, as the crowd attendances confirm, typically 10x bigger than any BFU, GMIO, P/O or BP gig I've attended, Zappanale excluded.
If you begin to listen expecting not to like it, don't be surprised if your parachute doesn't open.

I've never said that I don't like ZPZ in general - my criticism was related just to this show.
I've seen them many times in Germany and Holland and I was always impressed.

Especially this was a funny period:
ZPZ tonight (2010 11 09) in Hengelo NL ...

BTW, nice new avatar. Wink
