This unreleased radio program has only ever appeared as a bootleg LP called "Remington Electric Razor". Until very recently, there was absolutely no indication as to where this bootleg came from. Then Drew51 found this quote by Lucy Gomez, dated August 5, 2001...

"NITE OWL - Frank's cover of this classic 1955 tune is still awaiting a legitimate release, but a live mixed and mastered version recorded with the 1980 band appears on several FZ bootlegs. FZ's version was actually prepared to appear on a thirty minute tape of FZ live performances, that Frank had compiled to be heard on a syndicated radio program which never aired."

It has always been speculated that this bootleg was some kind of FZ build reel, but as to what it was intended for was unclear. Now we know that it is likely the 30-minute radio program that Lucy is describing.

This seed is a restoration using tape sources for the first half (same mixes), and a fresh vinyl transfer for the second half. It is an upgrade to the commercial boot transfers currently on the tracker.

I like how track #10 mocks Devo's version of "Satisfaction"

Thanks. BTW same version of "Nite Owl" was in the even more mysterious build reel we found a few years ago.

Thank you very much! Striking coincidence - listen Remington Electric Razor second consecutive day !?!

Everything in the universe is . . . is . . . is made of one element, which is a note, a single note. Atoms are really vibrations, you know, which are extensions of THE BIG NOTE, everything's one note

Thanks a lot

If you just been lowered down here on tv by a wire connected to a brown leather harness, forced by a crazy person to insert a mysterious imported lamp into the reproductive orifice of a lady harpist, and you were a dwarf.....would you do it?
