Got it with Vista-Firefox-Java...

Any clue from which Helsinki show Cosmik Debris is taken? 1973-08-23 or 24?

Thanks for the info regarding London!

If this is from London and it seems like it, then our two complete shows by FF and SS are 4.5 % too slow. That's how much I had to speed up ZA to match the official version!

I have to correct myself. The "solo" is almost correct speed with our shows. The "Theme" is way to slow up till the solo, which tells me that that part is NOT from that London show.
Will try to find the matching beginning.
cheers

Thanks for catching that not all of this release is from London 18th.
However, we may need to take a closer look into the first part (the non-June 18th portion).
Many of the guitar feedbacks in the first part heard here are sounding different from those in London 19th early.
I currently believe that Frankfurt 11th Late seems to include portions that are a closer match with the official release discussed here.
Not sure at this point if that is true for the entire first part of Zoot Allures, before the start of the solo.
Hopefully someone else can double-check and confirm. Thanks.

The solo portion itself is indeed from London 18th.

Good ears Flam,

ZA goes as follows: 0 - 59.03 19th early , 59.03 - 1.04.05 Frankfurt late, 1.04.05 - 2.04.62 19th early, 2.04.62 - 2.52.45 Frankfurt late again, - Rest 18th.

All times are approximate!

BTW,

I believe that this mix was made by FZ himself. Sound is exactly like on Them or Us.
Just my 2 cents

My thought as well, it sounds like one of FZ's editing and mixing projects from that era.

Of course with everything coming out of the Vault recently, Zoot is way more compressed and much louder than the original Them or Us mixes.

Upon repeated and comparative listenings to the first part of all three Zoot Allures versions
(Mother's Day, 1982 06 11 Late Frankfurt DE and 1982 06 19 Early London UK)

I am currently coming to the conclusion that almost the entire first part of Zoot Allures
should be coming from Frankfurt 11th Late and nothing from London 19th early,
except for the first 19secs portion which may be neither from Frankfurt nor from London,
perhaps from a different, currently uncirculated 1982 concert
(the bassline heard in London 19th or in any of my other 1982 AUD copies
does not match with the Mother's Day version there,
and in my Frankfurt copy the bassline in the first 19 secs is virtually inaudible),
so no definitive concert date reference statement about that 0:00-0:19 portion from me here.

Please bear in mind that the drums in the Mothers Day version are "UMRK-Overdubbed"
and therefore mostly different from those heard in the respective AUD recordings,
it's easy to get distracted by that difference when comparing the MD upload and the AUD source versions.

The switch to 1982 06 18 London UK should be located at around 2:38,700 into the Mothers Day track.

My current 2 cents.

Corrections are welcome.
