He may be playing it to mark the 20th anniversary of Frank's death. So could be happening all tour through spring 2014.

He didn't play it last night in Bristol, but I spoke to him about it, and he said it was cool to post it on youtube and share with you guys, so enjoy.
It was only shown on the London stage set list as a blank line, and Kurt told us after the show that Dweezil only mentioned he'd like to play it about two hours before the show began.
There was no place for it on the Bristol set list so I think it would be an occasional thing if it is to be repeated.

Edit: anyone know why the above works in preview but not when submitted?

I saw them in Helsinki on 29.11. Encore: Watermelon in Easter hay, Whipping post, Muffin man. I was in tears during WIEH, so couldn't see how Dweezil coped. An unforgettable night.

They played it in Glasgow and filmed it too. There was a camera on stage just fixed on Dweezil for it.

Missed that...by then i'd moved from the front row to the back. Chris Norton's Keyboards were blocking my view of Ryan Brown's playing so i switched seats during the interval for a more even view.
I never watched any youtube footage beforehand so the track was a wonderful surprise for my ears and i enjoyed it a lot. tunes

...

Because you don't use the *<a href= ...*> etc. format here when you want to post a group of words *with the URL link hidden behind* ...

You use what we call "BBcode" here: something starting with *[url=...]* etc., and ending with *[/url]*

Only then your "above" term will appear like this: Wink

You can use the a href standard syntax

This is my little reminder - I have removed the beginning < and the end >

a href="target URL here" target="_blank">Text here</a
< goes before the a above............................................ > goes after the a above

Try it
It works

I suppose that you can only use the a href standard syntax here
when in your user profile settings
the "Always allow HTML:" parameter is set to "Yes".

So I have to take back (partially) what I posted earlier.

In case that in your profile the "Always allow HTML:" parameter is set to "No"
(as with many users here, including myself)
the a href standard syntax doesn't work here.

hmm

I'm confused now - in my link here do you see the a href code or does it work properly for you (assuming you have allow HTML parameter set to no) ?

I don't want to add to any confusion but I have my ''allow HTML'' set to ''yes'' and your link worked properly StatusBaby (as did TPS's - see my earlier post).
I then went to my profile and changed the ''allow HTML'' to ''no'' and all I could see was the href code. Is that what you wanted to know?

Another difference I noticed is the bbcode links open a new window and the href links change the page.....

Looks to me like the Disable HTML funtion is flawed!
I look at the thread, and see "Try Me" in raw html code, but when I preview a new post and scroll, it has changed to a hyperlink!?!
Flambay's BBCode method seems more consistent, so...

And now DZ has played it using the Hendrix/Zappa strat

Yes I think there are some technical issues going on here - the target="_blank" part should always make the link open in a new window. Maybe it is a question of logging off and on again ?

For future use could someone provide the correct syntax in the format that I did e.g.
< missing from beginning and > missing from end
a href="target URL here" target="_blank">Text here</a

Thanks:!:
