Sam Apple Pie was actually a very influential British dual-lead-guitar blues-rock band for a short while in the late sixties in the UK.
Their live shows and their first self-titled album from 1969 were a big influence on early Led Zeppelin (see sig below Wink).
It's a shame those Amougies jam aud. recordings are so rough because it sounds like Zappa's blues jam with SAP on their Moonlight Man
(with three lead guitarists!) was smokin'!

And oh yeah, Blossom Toes had some good stuff too: If Only For A Moment is another fine album from 1969. Guitarist Brian Godding also played electric guitar on Keith Tippett's Centipede while Fripp was in the control room engineering--and he's a lefty too!
