Likely "You Call That Music" which according to YCDTOSA 4 was recorded at Columbia University (1969 02 14). And Dave Samuels denies he played with the band in 1969.

Could Hunchentoot also finally be coming out?

As far as I know he wrote it in 1972 but didn't record any of it until later. But perhaps there are further surprises in the vault.

The correct date is 7/8/69.

Samuels says he didn't play with FZ before 1976. If this is from Columbia University, the date is 2/14/69.

He recorded (and released) Think It Over in 1972.

I'm guessing this refers to the "fake stereo" processing mentioned on the unreleased JABFLA liner notes (so if you want this in true mono get the Carnegie Hall CD).

But that's obviously not the actual date of recording.

Actual liner notes (what I posted before was summarized in my words)
Welcome. What we have here is a Welcome Mat. This special invitation comes with a bit of flooring - over by the chrome dinette.
So what we got is some linoleum (and later some vinyl) which we are recycling right here on the floor. Yes. Too late to be wanting
any more. We will just have to be satisfied with the dense if not entirely ecumenical patina which has existed for years: nothing has
changed. This is somewhat about flooring and the navigation thereof. FZ definitely wheelin' and dealin' in his wheelchair rigged to
support an epic plaster cast with a bit of sinister footwear strapped to a modified stirrup - this was the condition the condition was in
when he worked up Just Another Band From L. Waka/Jawaka. GRAND WAZOO and Density of the Fourth Patina (if you're counting)
is/was HUNCHentoot. Who knew? And these Finer Moments. You will not see/hear their like again in this dimension. Lucky for us all
that FZ captured them in the camera of his mind. and in camera in the vault.

That's what the liner notes say.

What say I? - The music is GREAT.
favorites Walking Zombie Music, The Old Curiosity Shoppe, Uncle Rhebus, Enigmas 1 Thru 5, There Is No Heaven..., the Subcutaneous Peril.

Yes, if the musical recording itself was done with the MOI in Feb. 1969 what I understand with this date on June 26, 1972 is when FZ made official that recording to be released ( and those amounts were destinated for the pension welfare fund for the American federation of musicians and employers).

Cool samples. While listening to Sleazette (that comes from Sleeping In A Jar), I realized that Get A Little from WRMF also seems to be the solo from Sleeping in A Jar

I think Sleeping In A Jar normally had the slow E minor jam at the end in 68/69 heard in those two tracks. Chocolate Halvah (YCDTOSA 5) also is likely from a Sleeping In A Jar coda. You can hear another one on the audience tape from 1968 10 25 that FZ edited out of the Ahead Of Their Time CD.

What was supposed to be the end of side one ends with a record scratch after which FZ announces that the fake record scratch indicates the end of side one and now you have to turn the record over...cool.

Got it today (bought in Vienna).

Here's the backside:

Booklet is nice, with detailed track listing, a few images of the mothers (that I have not seen before), and a small "essay"/"article". If you want me to I can provide more information in the evening (I am at work now).

At this point I'm curious about what happens in "You Never Know Who Your Friends Are," "Enigmas 1 Thru 5" and "Pumped And Waxed," how "Uncle Rhebus" compares to "King Kong" from The Ark (BTB1) and what's in "The Subcutaneous Peril" aside from the Pound solo.

But I guess I'll know in a week or two if my Best Buy pre-order goes smoothly.
