Notes: Tracking based on main subject, not question. Since this is so
long it must be tracked. Tracking by tape side made no sense here.
Thanks to Dennis and Eric for a great capture! Rob for sharing with us this nice and clean version!
Jim Nagle for arranging interview.
'Most of all big thanks to Frank for being so generous in giving us 4+ hours of his time. For being so funny and ingenious by giving this interview the title of 'The Interview Of The Century'. And for being so humble and kind when he thanked us for being his fans after we thanked him for the interview.' - Rob
technical notes:
Denn Simms edited in the Buxton fills in the analog stage. Some change in sound noticeable.
Technically the interview was conducted in Zappa's basement, close enough to the UMRK to call it such.
2011 12 22 - Zappateers Archive Enjoy! Rob and Drew
This version is lower generation then the existing seed, no patches were needed. As close to the master as we can get. Time difference is due to pitch, and cannot be checked without music. It sounds fine!

Many thanks. The radio station at the local college broadcast several hours of Frank's music yesterday. It was a nice tribute to him, and it was nice of them to remember.
Music is the best, but interviews are nice, too.

I love this interview, thanks very much _________________ "Well, look, it depends on what the intent is. If the intent is to rip me off, then I hate it. If the intent is to find out what's going on, then I think it's fabulous. ."

Fantastic interview, I like hearing Frank talking. He has a nice voice, a funny way of saying things and he's one of the clearest-speaking people I have ever heard (what I mean is that I think it's very easy for non-native English speakers such as myself understanding what he says)
