I was a bit quick with these samples, the show is in the tracker !! Teasea version, and i had forget that i had even compare them before !!!

No lucky for the tf, Hoosac one is before in "Cosmic" and after in "You didn't try.." and there is less at begin tape

but there is Black napkins at end, not present in Teasea seed, but incomplete, it cuts after ~6min

Yojimbo, did you get the same, perhaps it's not necessary for me to sample if you get the same in more than C+ ??

How does this compare to the Teasea example? Mine is way different, we need to look at this.
Mine is oversaturated from the taper having set too high of levels, but I think it sounds better then this. I'll sample to compare to this and the Teasea version/source? Mine appears to be another source, not sure yet? Need to transfer and look closer.

Turns out I have three sources:
* A 1st or 2nd gen CDR of the one sampled here. Better sound than Hoosac, but the encores are missing, and there are data problems with the CDR's.
* An incomplete (60 min) 3rd gen with B+/B sound.
* An unknown gen which is the best sounding of the three, B+ except when the saturation sets in. Could be the same as Drew's and/or Teasea's.

And while researching, I realize that I have a 1st/2nd gen CDR of the early show too! It's the same source as the one that was seeded recently, but it might be better sounding. I'll prepare some samples.

Wow, sounds great my copy sounds like teasea's, probably not as good, so i think I'm out, no second tape either.

Yes, it's the same source as Teasea's. It may be a touch brighter, but it's probably just generational shift, with a little extra hiss too. I think I prefer Teasea's.
And unfortunately, neither of my two low gen versions can provide a patch for Cosmik Debris/YDTTCM, nor do they have Black Napkins. So right now it looks like Teasea w/ Napkins from hoosac92. The 3rd gen is almost as good as this version, so it could be worthy of a separate seed.

My tape has the saturation problems, too. However I think a new transfer of my tape could improve the sound. It will be a while before I would be able to do it. If anyone is interested (someone with better gear than me perhaps?) I could send them my tape.
