Please note : I have NOT altered the original info file, even though the setlist provided in it was incomplete.
This re-seed is exactly as was posted at dime.

Refer to the description below for the updated setlist as the dime community helped fill-in the blanks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Captain Beefheart & the Magic Band- Paradise, Boston, Mass. 1980/ December/ 5- 1st time posted VG+ master aud, with samples (glasnostrd19)

I had meant to get around to this one about a month ago, but wasn't sure if I had to do a new transfer to do it, so I decided what the heck, this hasn't been posted before and I want it to sound good, so I did a new transfer from the master cassettes and this sounds pretty nice for a Beefheart aud. I think the Captain's many fans will like hearing this recording.

Captain Beefheart & the Magic Band

Captain Beefheart- vocals
Richard Midnight Hatsize Snyder- guitar, slide guitar (thanks to firusan for name correction)
Jeff Morris Tepper- guitar, slide guitar
Eric Drew Feldman- keyboards, bass and mandolin (thanks to firusan for additional instrumental info.)
Robert Williams- drums and percussion

Paradise Rock Club
Boston, Mass. (U.S.A.)
December 5, 1980

Realistic twinhead stereo mike > Technics cassette deck (dolby off) > (average quality, not the crummy one I used a few months later) > Maxell XL-I master cassettes (normal bias) > played on Nak. 125 into soundforge 4.5 WAV (into Realtek soundcard) > flac 6 > torrentially yours.

It's not a "masters of rock", or jazz, but a Masters of Whatever Production.

Thanks for bringing the Beef over here. I'll assist in the seeding, if that's OK, since I also got this from the Dime. I'm wondering if the song titles & info file should have been changed, too, to reflect the Zappateer's naming standards?
