All official releases credit FZ, and I've read Tommy Mars interviews where he discusses "Envelopes" but never saw him claim to have written the words, so I think FZ wrote them.

It is possible FZ edited Yellow Snow from more than one session. I remember Joe mentioning that the master reel had different brands of tape edited together.
